We should stop pretending that Gen Z is essential to the survival of the economy. I would say half of them are useful, passionate and talented individuals while the other is for the toilet (observation from being a senior manager and also teaching faculty in university).
I also would not call Gen Z lazy, they are absolutely not - they just have unrealistic expectations that mostly don't sync with the world we live in. Some people argue we (the older generations) need to help them - problem here is that many of them refuse to accept that.
It's a very impatient generation, poisoned by social media from what I see. A generation that wants to change things for the better but fails to understand the full picture before doing so (instead of dancing and producing nonsense on TikTok)...
If I had to, I would place my bets on Gen A and soon Gen B...
