Very important findings, Maersk. I think every big corporation needs to focus on the outside-in motion of innovation capability building. They key concept here is organization ambidexterity — maintaining efficiencies of core business (exploitation) while putting emphasis on silo breaking and experimentation (exploration). Excubation is one approach that can prove the necessary and mutually beneficial exchange of synergies between corporation and start-up without risking or hampering each others performance.
