Hello Marwa, thanks for the article – beautifully articulated. One aspect I would add is the effect of personal time/space and intimacy. Roughly put, people will be driven by Mastery, Autonomy and Purpose. Give people a) the mission, b) fast ownership and c) empower them on their learning journey. Personal space and time can be especially rewarding as it lets you reflect on your main objectives by just dealing with other things and generating new ideas.

I went hitchhiking in Germany a couple of months ago, where I talked to a lot of locals. They were all pessimistic about the future of their country. They have the industries but lack the innovation to compete with the Chinese or the Sillicon Valley.
